BB Break-Down: The Blueberry Scrub
BB Break-Down: The Blueberry Scrub
By: Melanie Peres
Hello Brooklyn Botany Babes!
This month we have another Brooklyn Botany Break-Down for you. Let’s indulge, shall we?
This summer, I think we can all agree, is unlike any other. Whether quarantining by the beach or not, refresh yourself with the Blueberry Scrub and remind each other what summer is really about and the reasons we look forward to it.
So, let’s break it down.
Dead Sea Salt
Dead Sea Salt is the main ingredient of many Brooklyn Botany scrubs including the Matcha Green Tea Scrub, the Arabica Coffee Scrub, and the new Sweet Orange Scrub. This base holds the oils together and is the secret to exfoliating dead skin.
Sweet Almond Oil
This summer is like no other, which is the reason we need something sweet! A quick tip: Leave all the global problems out of the bathroom and savor in the luxury of the oils. Sweet Almond Oil will help prevent wrinkles while smoothing the skin as it is a good source of Vitamin E.
All Natural Fragrance
Here’s another fun fact about this scrub. That fruity smell? All natural. Between the sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, and blueberry, no other fragrance is truly needed. Open the container, take a handful, scrub on the skin and inhale.
Blueberry
Yes, we weren’t kidding. Our Blueberry Scrub actually has blueberries in it. (Grapes, too!) They just have fancy names on the back of the container: Cyanococcus and Vitis Vinifera. Super difficult to pronounce, but worth it.
Don’t let the worldwide energy dull your skin, and break away from it all- at least for a little while- use this fruity scrub to bring some fun into your life.
Laters,
B.B.
P.S. It’s on sale now. Thank me later.
