I have used thyme before in cooking, but that has been the herb itself. This is an essential oil, to be used as aromatherapy or in a carrier oil for topical use, such as skin. The fragrance is interesting, but not particularly pleasant. It smells like grass. It says on the bottle that it goes well in combination with other essential oils such as lavender, bergamot and others. Thats how I would use it, as opposed to the thyme oil itself, if using it in a diffuser. It can also be used topically, but you do have to dilute it with a carrier oil before using it. It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. You get 4 fl oz. The price is reasonable.
