This Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil definitely has a citrus scent, which reminds me of citronella or lemongrass rather than plain lemon. At the time I ordered this essential oil, the listing indicated ethically sourced from Brazil and Bottled in the USA. The bottle itself does not give any indication of where the oil was made. One thing I dislike is that neither the bottle nor the listing indicated the official plant name used to make this oil.
The Brooklyn Botany Lemon Eucalyptus oil is a nice scent that reminds me of citronella candlesmaybe this is the type of oil they use in those products. The scent is quite strong and is better suited for large areas or outdoorsit was a bit overwhelming when I used in the bedroom. This Brooklyn Botany Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil arrived well packaged and boxed. It is a large bottle at 4 FL oz and will last a very long time. The scent is strong (which I love, but others might not so much). I have a lot of jar candles that I use under candle warmers that have lost their scents. A couple of drops of this wonderful oil bring my candles back to life. I also put some drops on my dehumidifiers in other rooms. Now, my whole house has a nice fresh lemon scent. The value is excellent at 9.99 for the large bottle. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves lemons. It isn't tested on animals and is ethically sourced from Brazil, it says on the bottle. I would recommend this oil.

But I'm feeling like a 5 star review is appropriate and accurate. The scent for me is almost like a lemon pastry, which is a plus. It's lemon but not so bright it punches you in the face. The eucalyptus makes the overall effect earthy and grounded. I thought I might only give it a 4 star rating because the scent takes a little time to travel through the air in my low-tech ceramic disc diffuser. Now that it's floating through the air, the scent is appealing and delightful. I am a fan of this product and you might be, too.

Excellent product. I use it to repel mosquitoes and I've mixed it with a few drops in vinegar to clean my tub, sink and toilet and it leaves the bathroom with a clean scent. I live in Florida so there are many mosquitoes. I spray my back porch when I go out in the evening and the mosquitoes don't come near me. I will buy it again!

It has a very pleasant scent and doesn't not smell like mosquitoes repellent. I makes some up with my body lotion and a face spray. So far very good at repelling mosquitoes, haven't been stung since using this oil. Prior to using the Lemon Eucalyptus oil, I was beginning bitten 10-20 times a day!
I liked it. I had to put less amounts in my mist machine cause it was strong.
