BB’s 5 Ways To Use Coconut Oil For Beauty & Health

There are so many ways to use coconut oil for both health and beauty related purposes. Here are 5 ways that we use our coconut oil all the time!
Number 1: Hair
Coconut oil is a great natural hair mask. Use once every other week. Pour coconut oil all over the hair and leave in a bun or in a clip for thirty minutes. Then wash it out with shampoo, we recommend the Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo, but it’s up to you! Your hair will be silky smooth for days.
Number 2: Nails
We often leave nail care behind, since it seems like it doesn’t pay off. However, adding coconut oil to your cuticles on a daily basis can tremendously improve the skin around the nail. This promotes stronger nails and softens the cuticles leaving a manicured hand looking good and healthy. You can place around the nail before or after removing polish, but adding some coconut oil to the nails weekly will dramatically change the game.
Number 3: Skin
Natural moisturizer! Yes, it’s true. Use coconut oil on your skin after shaving or on a daily basis to soften the overall skin and add a glowy look. It’s fast absorbing and doesn’t leave a sticky feel. Great for dry skin.
Number 4: Aromatherapy
Mix with an essential oil for aromatherapy purposes or to change the scent to your liking! Some common mixtures include the coconut oil with lavender or with peppermint. You can sprinkle in the bath to relax or awaken or place on your temples to relieve headaches.
Number 5: Sun Damage
Help the skin from sun damage. After a sunburn or finding sun spots. Nothing soothes the skin more than this. Long day at the beach or at the park? Add some to the skin to relax it from a hard day.
